Oh ladies and gentlemen, it's been a tough week. IB tests began on Tuesday, and between studying and sheer procrastination, it's taken me until today to be able to SHOOT MY LAST STRANGER
It's been a stressful week and finishing this project has made me ecstatic. However, the project isn't over yet. This particular project, my senior independent project, ends as soon as I print the book (hopefully sometime next week!) It's been real darlings.

When I've not been studying...
I've been procrastinating finishing this project instead. By taking cool pictures of Chinese flower teas. Such as:
But then I got my act together. And finished this project.

I met Joey outside of Cafe Mango, as our friend Serena introduced us. He spent yesterday playing hide and seek and pine cone wars. He has lived in almost every state on the west coast of the USA.

And also...
I would like to thank my wonderful, wonderful boyfriend Jordan for lending me his InDesign skills to compose a wonderful front cover for my book. I think it's pretty snazzy personally, and it made my weekend.

ARGHHHH. IB exams start tomorrow, and I left Saturday Market this weekend, realising eventually that I was missing that key, last stranger - stranger 100. THE LAST ONE I NEED TO FINISH THIS PROJECT.
However, my zen is coming back, and have no fear, I will have completed the 100 tonight. But it's just so FRUSTRATING.
Oh well, here's some new lovely Portlanders to check out - and keep your eyes peeled, you may just know some of them... you never know who I'll stop and talk to.
To my fellow IB sufferers - good luck the next few weeks! We can do it!

Leah was making jewelry to be sold by down SW Waterfront. She made it all quickly and beautifully, but sadly I didn't have any cash on me to support her work.
Stranger 95:
Name: Hanaa
Age: 20
Hanaa was hanging out with her mother at Saturday Market and checking out the stalls. I was really attracted to her tattoo as it was so colourful and bright. She got her tattoo in North Carolina, where she lived for 3 years, and it took a total of 14 hours to complete.
Stranger(s) 94 and 93:
Name/s: Dan and Randy (and random photo bomber...)
Age/s: 25 and 24
Dan and Randy were just hanging out and catching up when I bumped into them (literally!). They were both willing to pose for me and didn't believe that I was from England.
Stranger 92:
Name: Thomas
Age: 41
Thomas runs a stall at Saturday Market, selling pieces of art he makes that he likes to call "The Road to Nowhere" as when spun, the balls appear to be moving but never truly do. He was hoping to sell more pieces today.
Stranger 91:
Name: Frederick
Age: 54
Frederick was playing music for tips and asked me if I had any requests. I asked for The Beatles but he started playing Willie Nelson - I'm pretty sure he didn't hear me too well over the sound of the crowds.
Stranger 90:
Name: John
Age: 43
John was giving out chicken samples at the "King of the Cajun" stand, founded by Bro Enterprises. He was willing to have his picture taken only if I helped him promote.

Age: 42

Jimi was making money by taking pictures with tourists for tips and "keeping it real".

Age: 35 or 37 - he couldn't decide

Name: Wooten
Age: 57
Wooten was running a cosmetics store across from her son, Jimmy's, clothing store.
Stranger 83:
Name: Jack
Age: 23
Jack works in ballistics, which means he matches bullets to guns for the police. He said it was a hard profession to get into, but he got lucky and after spending time in Iraq, it gave him the experience and opportunity to enter the work force. He's been working in that department for about one year now and really enjoys it so far.
Stranger 82:
Name: Thai
Age: 20
Thai is a cook, and she was hanging out downtown, just leaving Saturday Market.
However, my zen is coming back, and have no fear, I will have completed the 100 tonight. But it's just so FRUSTRATING.
